Rebecca Sheraton is a children’s author and primary school teacher. She writes to spark young children's imagination and make them curious to learn and read more.

If she was allowed, Rebecca would read to her class all day long. She loves delving deeply into books with her students and is passionate about them sharing their ideas.

Rebecca is the coordinator of WriteLinks and she enjoys facilitating the monthly meetings in Brisbane which include networking, professional development and face-to-face critique groups for children’s authors and illustrators. She presents workshops to help and inspire other creatives.

When not writing, you’ll find Rebecca drinking tea, listening to audiobooks, running and exercising. She has a slight obsession with Jane Austen, visiting bookshops and libraries and exploring new places.
